Anjuli Saunders – Advisor

JewelAnjuli (Jewel) Saunders was born in Calcutta, India and grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin. After attending Tremper High School, Jewel graduated from Ripon College in 2008 with degrees in Criminal Justice and English. Realizing her passion was to work with and encourage young people, Jewel entered Ripon’s post-baccalaureate program
for teaching. In 2010, Jewel finished the program and started her teaching career in
Princeton, Wisconsin. Certified in Broad field Social Studies and English, Jewel had the honor of teaching several grade levels and subject areas at Princeton. She advised the Middle School Student Council, various high school classes, and the high school newspaper. She was named the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation’s Teacher of the Year during her second year. Currently, Jewel is earning her graduate degree from Concordia University in Educational Leadership.
In her free time, Jewel loves to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys hiking, biking, baking, kayaking, going to Packer games, and movies. She and her husband are looking forward to being members of the Kimberly community, and Jewel is excited to be at the Kornerstone School because of the excelling and inspiring students and the Project-Based learning environment.
